obsessive.

I had legitiment tears of happiness when I found these on Youtube earlier today. Beautifully shot with the absolute perfect musicians. Excuse me while I watch these every day for the rest of my life.

And if you're not already listening to Mumford & Sons - you need to go do that. Right now. I promise you'll love it.

*check out their official youtube channel for more heart-stopping goodness.

I never listen to the radio and I'm so not a Top-40 girl (give or take a few exceptions like, ahem, Britney) so unless I'm hanging around Hailie, I have no clue what's "hot" anymore. So, color me shocked when I accidentally hit the band button on my stereo in my car the other day, and this song was on. Annnnnnd, I kind of love it. A LOT. It's summery, fun and catchy as all hell. What did someone once tell me...oh yeah: "Allison, you need to just embrace the cheese sometimes."

well, if we're going that route, this is like a huge block of awesome Gruyere. DELICIOUS. I'll be eating the whole thing, thanks.

words and music wednesday volume two.

This song has taken residence in my brain, bones and entire being. I love the beat, I love the chanting of the lyrics, I love driving with the windows down blasting this song as loud as I can stand it. I have a feeling that my Summer 2010 is going to be chock-full of electropop and the like. If I could only stop listening to this for just one second...

Jónsi - Go Do
Let’s just say, listening to this song makes you feel like you got hit by a semi-truck full of rainbows, unicorns, baby animals and glitter. What’s up, happiness in aural form?

Joshua Radin – Streetlight
It's a banjo-gasm of goodness. And don’t even get me started on the man himself; I’ll have to excuse myself… if you know what I’m sayin’.

Josh Ritter – The Curse
Holy. Heartbreak. Batman. I really need to go see him play LiveOak this year.

Grace Potter and the Noctournals – Things I Never Needed
Yeah…I just had to go physically prevent myself from crapping my pants over this. [via]
