I tried college, and it didn’t quite work out so I decided to “take time off to find myself”. If you want me to be perfectly honest, I “took time off” because I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do, was going through some serious life issues, and quite frankly, was having way too much fun making questionable decisions and enjoying my new-found freedom. But that’s just me being honest.
So I played for awhile, and then had a breakdown. And then in 2008, decided to pack up my life and move 3,000 miles away from everyone and everything I knew. However, I have the luxury of being around (and genetically connected to) some of the best people in the world. I'm pretty lucky in that sense, and it's okay to be jealous over it.
I’m sarcastic and vulgar and say a lot of things that I probably shouldn’t. My Type-A personality is almost always at the forefront and I drink way more coffee per day than should be legal.
If someone were to ask me to list some of my favorite things, it would look something like this: driving with the windows down, making lists, red wine, March Madness, thrift stores and hanging with my family.
